Job Overview

Our training contracts consist of four rotations, each lasting six months, allowing trainees to gain experience across our Global Financial Markets, Corporate, and Litigation & Dispute Resolution sectors. We utilize a preference-based system where trainees can express their desired practice areas for their rotations, which encompass fields such as General Banking, Capital Markets, Public Companies, M&A, Funds, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and various secondment opportunities.

From the outset of your training contract, you will receive extensive support from Partners, Lawyers, fellow Trainees, the Graduate Recruitment Manager, and your assigned mentors, all of whom have navigated this journey themselves. We understand that exceptional training and oversight are crucial for maximizing your development during this period.

Successful online applications will lead to a series of assessments, including a video interview, assessment center, and panel interview.

Qualifications

We seek individuals who demonstrate ambition, drive, and dedication, along with strong interpersonal skills and a commercial mindset. Additionally, applicants should meet the following criteria:

A consistently strong academic background. Proficiency in Mandarin or a Chinese dialect, along with the ability to read and write in Chinese is preferred. A law or combined degree from a recognized university that qualifies you to commence a Hong Kong training contract upon completion of the Post Graduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL). Applications from non-law graduates who have completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (Common Professional Examination) are also welcomed. Company Overview
