Job Description

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the team head in formulating strategies and plans aligned with bank objectives. You will lead the team to achieve business goals and targets by developing effective ways to compile MIS data for maintenance, automating reporting journeys, and streamlining data management processes. You will also analyze historical trends, prepare forecast data, and optimize operation procedures using operation data.

You will liaise with stakeholders to facilitate data requirements and logistics, conduct periodical reviews, and ensure accurate data generation for study and analysis. Additionally, you will draw insights from data and dashboards to identify opportunities and make recommendations to users.

Requirements
  • Degree holder in Information System, Statistics, Management Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in banking or financial industry
  • SQL & Python programming skills desired
  • Process transformation mindset with related experience preferred
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Data sensitivity with sound presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Initiative and good team-player
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge in business intelligence/data visualization tools like Qlikview/Qliksense and Tableau
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese

The estimated salary range for this role is HKD 600,000 - 900,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
