Job Description
Citi is seeking a high-caliber professional to join our Asia Capital Markets Group as a Structured Products / Securities Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial markets, capital markets products, and asset classes.

About the Role
The Structured Products / Securities Analyst will be responsible for staying abreast of market developments and contributing to the team's strategy to grow the business through effective product advisory and efficient product delivery. Key responsibilities include:
  • Running product technology, platform / automation, and other projects, including project management, user acceptance testing, and technology fixes.
  • Providing structured products / securities advisory services, including product idea generation, investment themes, payoff / product recommendations, and product innovation.
  • Developing new products and new markets, and obtaining approvals.
  • Managing order execution and book-building processes.
  • Executing dealing and trading activities for structured products (cross-assets) / securities internally and externally.
  • Managing the end-to-end product life cycle.
  • Serving as a recognized technical authority and subject matter expert within the business.
  • Assessing risk and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, while safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.


Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A strong understanding of financial institutions, asset management firms, or similar organizations.
  • Up to 3 years of working experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, various capital markets products, and asset classes, including equities, fixed income, commodities, ETFs, etc.
  • Knowledge of dealing and execution processes.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements across local and US frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, diplomacy, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internal systems.
  • VBA and Python skills are a plus.
