Key Responsibilities

  • HK Data Centre design management, monitor the design progress and quality of HK Data Centre.
  • HK consulting companies, monitor and control the site progress to ensure work is completed on-time, within scope and budget.
  • PRC technical team organisation, carry out the plan and construction drawing design, control the quality of drawings.
  • Servicing the department, implementing project changes, cost audit, etc.
  • Bidding process collaboration with PMs for Data Centres.
  • Quality control of works, including schedule progress, material and equipment on-site, investigating and analysing quality incidents, advising remedy solutions and risk management to minimise project risks.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Building Services / Structural / Construction Management / Electrical Engineering / I.T. / Computer Science or related disciplines.
  • Practical HK data centre experience in design or construction.
  • Familiarity with HK Data Centre Design and Engineering Operations, with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical data centre infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with local Data Centre Construction regulations, standards and practices.
  • PMP qualification is required.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework is preferred.
  • At least 3 years solid experience in HK Data Centre Design or Construction.
  • Working experience in Data Centre operation.
  • Able to plot Data Centre plan and schedule project life cycle independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience in AutoCAD or BIM modelling skills.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
  • Able to work independently and a team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Responsible, self-disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
