Job Title: Deputy Head of Fixed Income Investment

ICBC Asset Management (Global) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Fixed Income Investment to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of fixed income investment professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Investment Strategy Development: Develop and implement fixed income investment strategies in alignment with the house strategy and risk appetite.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of the fixed income investment market and a range of fixed income securities, including government and corporate bonds, and other debt instruments.
  • Investment Opportunities Identification: Identify investment opportunities within the fixed income markets and make recommendations for portfolio allocations and adjustments.
  • Portfolio Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of fixed income portfolios, ensuring adherence to investment guidelines, investment restrictions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Market Insights and Developments: Stay updated on market trends, economic indicators, and developments that may impact fixed income investments, and provide timely insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with external market participants, such as brokers and investment managers, to access market insights and developments.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations for clients, senior management, and regulatory authorities.
  • Product Development: Participate in fund marketing and product development.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree holder or above in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields with overseas educational background preferred.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of fixed income investment management experience, with at least 5 years of managing fixed income type authorized funds.
  • Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of fixed income markets, including different types of fixed income securities, credit analysis, interest rate risk management, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct thorough research and due diligence on fixed income investment opportunities, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Responsibility and Supervision: Strong sense of responsibility and supervisory skills.
  • Industry Network: Strong network within the financial industry.
  • Language Proficiency: Good command in written and oral English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
