Job Overview

KPMG China is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Audit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements for financial services clients, including banks, asset management companies, and insurance firms.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage audit engagements for financial services clients, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality audit work.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing value-added services.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments, applying knowledge to ensure audit engagements are conducted in accordance with relevant standards.

Requirements

- Qualified accountant with at least 2 years of experience in financial services audit, preferably with a major firm.
- Strong technical skills and ability to research accounting issues in a wide range of GAAPs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong business awareness and ability to identify audit issues arising from commercial transactions.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
