Hang Lung Properties Cloud IT Manager (Cloud) Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain cloud infrastructure standards, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Design and plan hybrid cloud architecture for new projects, collaborating closely with the IT application and cybersecurity teams to assess technical feasibility and development requirements.
  • Liaise with virtual cloud teams to refine cloud operation models and lead troubleshooting efforts.
  • Define comprehensive data backup and recovery strategies, system disaster recovery plans, and business continuity processes for core systems.
  • Evaluate and implement the latest cloud technologies, providing regular demonstrations to team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • A certification in Alicloud, Azure, or AWS is required. Experience working with these platforms is essential.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud operations, preferably with a focus on critical systems such as ERP.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and native technologies is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-a-Code tools, such as Terraform, and experience with Desired State, Configuration Management, and Orchestration are advantageous.
  • Candidates should stay up-to-date with the latest cloud trends and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is mandatory, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Willingsness to travel to Mainland China may be required.
