Job Title: Consulting Arborist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consulting Arborist to join our team at Asia Tree Preservation, Ltd. in Hong Kong.

About the Role

As a Consulting Arborist, you will be responsible for conducting detailed tree surveys and inventories, performing tree risk assessments, and developing tree health care strategies. You will also consult on tree selection, planting, and transplanting, and advise on tree preservation during development projects.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct tree surveys and inventories to identify tree health and potential risks.
  • Perform tree risk assessments using advanced techniques such as sonic tomography and tree pulling tests.
  • Develop tree health care strategies, including soil and trunk injections.
  • Consult on tree selection, planting, and transplanting.
  • Advise on tree preservation during development projects.
  • Use Airspade technology for tree root assessments and to support health improvement efforts.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, or a related field (BSc, MSc, or PhD).
  • Certifications such as ISA Certified Arborist and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
