Arboriculture Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consulting Arborist to join our team at Asia Tree Preservation, Ltd. in Hong Kong. As a Consulting Arborist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on tree care and management to our clients.

• Conduct thorough tree surveys and inventories to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform advanced tree risk assessments using techniques such as sonic tomography, Resistograph, and tree pulling tests.
• Develop and implement tree health care strategies, including soil and trunk injections.
• Consult on tree selection, planting, and transplanting to ensure optimal tree health and longevity.
• Advise clients on tree preservation during development projects, ensuring that trees are protected and preserved for future generations.
• Utilize Airspade technology for tree root assessments and to support health improvement efforts.
• Communicate complex tree care information to clients, providing them with a clear understanding of our recommendations and the long-term management of their trees.

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in arboriculture or a related field.
• A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, or a related field (BSc, MSc, or PhD).
• ISA Certified Arborist and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (or equivalent).
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• A valid driving license.
