Arborist / Tree Climber (Position in Hong Kong)

Asia Tree Preservation, Ltd. is seeking a skilled Arborist / Tree Climber to join our team in Hong Kong. As a leading provider of arboriculture services, we offer a dynamic and fulfilling work environment.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly experienced Arborist / Tree Climber to conduct detailed tree surveys and inventories, perform tree risk assessments, and develop tree health care strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in arboriculture, forestry, or a related field, and hold relevant certifications such as ISA Certified Arborist and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.
Responsibilities- Conduct tree surveys and inventories to assess tree health and identify potential risks.
- Perform tree risk assessments using techniques such as sonic tomography, Resistograph, and tree pulling tests.
- Develop tree health care strategies, including soil and trunk injections, to promote tree health and longevity.
- Consult with clients on tree selection, planting, and transplanting to ensure optimal tree health and aesthetics.
- Advise on tree preservation during development projects to minimize tree damage and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Use Airspade technology to assess tree roots and support health improvement efforts.
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in arboriculture or a related field.
- A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, or a related field (BSc, MSc, or PhD).
- Relevant certifications such as ISA Certified Arborist and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
