About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst to join our team at AIA. As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for performing general accounting activities to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of accounting records, and compliance with accepted accounting standards, AIA group reporting policy, and statutory and regulatory requirements.

Duties / Accountabilities

  • Process daily insurance receipts and ensure timely payment
  • Process policy-related disbursements and handle payment journals
  • Prepare accounts reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items
  • Prepare commission and claims-related reports
  • Maintain an adequate filing system and perform assigned clerical functions
  • Assist in streamlining accounting operations

Competencies

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • System knowledge in AS400 and SAP is an advantage
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Education/Work Experience

  • Diploma in Accounting or related disciplines
  • LCCI Third Level or higher professional accounting qualification
  • At least 2 years' work experience in accounting

Others:

  • You are required to obtain the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities
