Wealth Management IT Application Support Specialist

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to join our Wealth Management IT team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a number of applications, including Avaloq, the core banking system used by Wealth Management Asia Business and Functional units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the application support team lead and other team members to ensure the safety and soundness of application environments for daily operations.
  • Provide L1 and L2 functional and technical support to end-users across multi-functional and geographic areas.
  • Manage complexity well and coordinate information and activities among groups with differing agendas, across multi-functional and geographic areas.
  • Support daily Day End Process, investigate and resolve issues that arise.
  • Coordinate with vendors or L2/3 to resolve production issues and communicate with end-users.
  • Conduct UAT and PIV for ad-hoc or monthly releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.
  • 1-2 years' experience in application support or business analysis role in banking/brokerage/investment industry.
  • Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with knowledge of international business units, regulations, pressures, and requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills.
