Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology Department at The Bank of East Asia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing system analysis functions, developing and maintaining systems, and preparing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **System Analysis:** Perform system analysis functions for systems supporting the Bank's Treasury business, ensuring they meet the required standards and procedures.
  • **System Development and Maintenance:** Develop and maintain systems according to the Bank's standards and procedures, ensuring they are efficient and effective.
  • **Documentation:** Prepare and update documentation for systems, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.
  • **Requirements:**
    • **Education:** University graduate in Computer Science or equivalent.
    • **Experience:** Preferable over 10 years' experience in supporting systems development and maintenance in the financial institutions domain, with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a systems analyst.
    • **Technical Skills:** Hands-on experience in Java, Unix script, and PL/SQL programming is a must. Experience in SQR/SQL/PLSQL, and Oracle DB will be an added advantage.
    • **Soft Skills:** Good team player with good interpersonal, communication skills, and able to work under pressure and tight schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with treasury trading platforms such as Murex, Calypso, or Numerix.
  • Exposure in treasury products such as FX, MM, IRS, and derivatives.
