This is a challenging role that requires a skilled Senior System Analyst to work on the core policy administration systems for different lines of businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide BAU support and modernize core policy administration systems to ensure they are efficient and effective.
  • Design and develop comprehensive, robust, and automated operation processes to business units, policy servicing, and accounting modules.
  • Streamline system processes for system simplification and improve business operations.
  • Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability.
  • Prepare functional specifications and system documentation.
  • Analyze and identify requirements, bring-in possible solutions, and improve business operations.
  • Manage project development and implementation, and support users on change control and system updates.
  • Provide guidance to junior developers, including analyzing and resolving technical and application problems in a timely manner.
  • Manage project risks and escalate project issues.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science or IT-related disciplines with a minimum of 5 years of experience delivering enterprise software.
  • Hands-on experience in Java, MVC framework like Apache Struts, AS/400, and ETL/Messaging technologies.
  • Knowledge in SSIS, PlanetPress workflow letter engine, and Tableau is preferable.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and integration layer is an advantage.
  • Experience in business requirement collection and system analysis.
  • Concrete knowledge on insurance business, systems, and processes.
  • Insurance business process background and knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
