We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst/Senior Analyst Programmer to join Global Executive Consultants Ltd. in Singapore.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing and developing application systems, as well as maintaining and documenting existing systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing application systems to meet business requirements;
- Maintaining and updating existing systems to ensure they remain efficient and effective;
- Providing technical support to end-users and liaising with software vendors and user departments;
- Developing project plans and schedules for application system development and enhancements;
- Evaluating and testing package software;
- Providing system installation, training and demonstration services;
- Administering SQL servers and managing databases;
- Performing daily IT application administration and ensuring database integrity;
- Providing application systems support and facilitating user requests.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A recognized University Degree/Higher Diploma/Associated Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline;
- Working experience in Microsoft-based development environment with VB.NET, ASP.NET, or C#.NET;
- Good knowledge in application development;
- Experience in common business applications is an advantage;
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
- Analyst Programmer with solid project experience will also be considered as System Analyst.
The estimated monthly salary for this position is SGD $8,000 - $12,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
