Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Assistant to join our team at the City University of Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and analysis, as well as assisting in annual budget preparation and budgetary control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and budgetary control.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with relevant professional qualifications and at least 5 years' post-qualification experience in all accounting functions. You will also need strong analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint, is required. Experience in Oracle Financial System and implementation of other financial systems would be an advantage.
