We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences: Part-time Research Assistant II (R6727) (N&HS). This study aims to examine the experiences of imported care workers in LTC facilities, with the goal of creating a comprehensive understanding of the factors that impact the recruitment and retention of staff in the LTC sector. It involves interviews with both imported and local LTC workers to identify factors influencing the experiences of imported care workers in LTC settings, and elucidate the complexities of the LTC workforce crisis. The appointee is required to perform the following duties: * Conducting literature search; * Assisting the research team in preparing literature reviews; * Liaising with study sites for subject recruitment and data collection; * Assisting the research team in conducting and transcribing interviews; * Assisting the research team in analyzing interview findings. The appointee is expected to work closely with the research team to achieve the objectives of the study. The successful candidate should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree or above and be proficient in MS Office Words, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong written and spoken English and Chinese language skills are also essential. Candidates should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
