We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences :

Part-time Research Assistant I or II (R7049) - (2500060) Job Type

Temporary/Part-time R&D

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing quantitative data analysis (including both parametric and non-parametric tests);
  • Writing reports for statistical results;
  • Providing assistance in project coordination; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the principal investigator.

Candidates

  • A bachelor's degree (research assistant II) or master's degree (research assistant I) in statistics or a related discipline;
  • Familiar with quantitative analysis and relevant tools, e.g. SPSS;
  • Preferably have experience in research works;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
  • Detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, and able to meet deadlines and work independently.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
