Financial Operations Manager

The TP ICAP Group is a leading global provider of market infrastructure solutions.
Role Overview:This mid-senior finance role reports to the Financial Controller in Hong Kong and takes on the day-to-day responsibility for the entire finance process, including regulatory and statutory reporting. The position provides insightful management information to enable business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the production of accurate and timely financial and management accounting information.
- Oversee the preparation and issuance of required financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Manage bank and cash records, ensuring they are properly reviewed and reconciled with bank statements and online records.
- Provide the business with accurate management financial information to support decision-making.
- Work closely with the Operations/ Settlement team to ensure revenues and discounts reconcile with brokerages recorded in the trade capturing system.
- Deliver budgets and forecasts as required.
- Manage the external audit process.
- Ensure tax compliance and monitor tax exposures.
- Maintain financial regulatory compliance (capital adequacy) of the entity.
- Ensure appropriate control over expenditure, applying the group's expenditure control framework and monitoring payments.
- Collaborate with the IT/system development team to ensure UAT processes are conducted and post-implementation monitoring is in place.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA, AICPA, or equivalent).
- Substantial experience in financial accounting within a multinational company.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong business acumen with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Able to work under pressure with good prioritization and organizational skills.
- Mature, independent, self-motivated with good analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Oracle, OneStream/Hyperion HFM, and Essbase.
- External audit experience.
- Understanding of SFC and HKMA rules and regulations.
