Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager to join our team in the Independent Valuation function. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out validation on models and UDAs, designing effective validation approaches, and communicating with other teams to collect information for validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate models and UDAs against actual management practices and expected modelling methodology
  • Design and implement effective validation approaches for tools under validation
  • Communicate with other teams to collect information for validation
  • Prepare validation results and assist in governance processes
  • Assist in responding to external stakeholders, including auditors and group office
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in actuarial or related field
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Good business and financial understanding
  • Experience with modelling software and developing complex actuarial models
  • Bias for action and results-driven
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities, cultures, and business practices
  • Operates with high standards and integrity
  • Ability to multi-task, be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and spoken English
