About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager to join our team at AXA Group. As a key member of our pricing and product development team, you will play a critical role in identifying new product concepts and developing them into concrete product designs for the China and SEA reinsurance market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, and Medical teams to research and derive new product features and pricing assumptions.
  • Pitch new product ideas to clients and create solutions that fit their proposition, budget, and risk appetite.
  • Work with Underwriting, Claims, Medical, and Risk Management teams to implement new product features that align with AXA's risk appetite.
  • Support the pricing team in deriving and implementing pricing assumptions and methodologies for new features and product structures proposed by clients.
  • Drive data analysis projects to develop new pricing bases, enhance existing pricing bases, and identify new product ideas.
  • Provide support to pricing junior colleagues as needed.
Your Profile

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Actuarial Manager with a globally recognized actuarial association qualification. You should have 7-9 years of experience in the Life Insurance industry, with a background in pricing or reinsurance or product development.

You should have a good pricing sense and be able to estimate pricing impact quickly. Knowledge of Medical and Critical Illness business, and distribution channels in China and SEA market is preferred.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, delivery-oriented, and able to work with multiple concurrent projects. You should be innovative, highly motivated, results-oriented, and solutions-focused.

You should be able to work effectively under pressure with good time management and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and self-manage work is essential.

Good command of business Chinese and English, both in written and spoken form, is required. Fluency in Mandarin speaking is a plus.
