Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Security Engineer to join our team at IO TECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED. This role requires a strong understanding of security engineering concepts, leadership experience in the cyber security field, and hands-on experience with security operations processes and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the threat landscape of the company and apply appropriate security controls and capabilities to protect our assets.
  • Manage and oversee security changes in hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-prem environments, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Implement automated and scalable security systems, processes, and controls to fortify our defenses.
  • Lead and/or mentor team members to ensure the highest level of security awareness and expertise across the organization.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security engineering; candidates with less experience will be considered for a junior Security Operations Engineer role.
  • Holistic understanding of security engineering concepts, including operating systems, cloud, and network engineering.
  • Mentoring/leadership experience in the cyber security field, with a strong focus on security operations.
  • Strong technical foundations, with hands-on experience of security operations processes and systems, including security monitoring, intrusion prevention & detection, network security, endpoint management & protection, identity management, threat detection, vulnerability management.
  • Expertise in identifying threats in distributed environments and responding to them effectively.
  • Programming skills in any high-level language, with a commitment to resolving issues efficiently.

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you're passionate about cybersecurity and have the skills to match, we encourage you to apply.
