Cosmetic Education Specialist - Asia Pacific

The Regional Assistant Retail Education Manager plays a pivotal role in driving and enhancing the makeup and fragrance category education strategy across Asia Pacific markets.

This individual will work closely with the Training Managers to support their content needs, collaborate with the Regional Marketing team to refine retail tools, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Align and coordinate International Retail Education strategy to ensure seamless adaptation of axis modules, programs, guidelines, and service protocols across ASPAC regions.
  • Optimize new counter services, tools, and centrally created training materials to provide high-quality market-relevant resources addressing each market's needs.
  • In collaboration with Regional Retail Performance, monitor ASPAC markets' client experience and Dior services at point of sales.
  • Plan and organize annual regional seminars, workshops, and train-the-trainer programs tailored to region-identified needs and business priorities.
  • Monitor Axis Training curriculum, support markets in defining action and deployment plans for the region.
  • Collect feedback to continuously improve quality of materials addressing markets' needs and provide advice on category education and business development teams' services.
  • Monitor 'Specialist/Expert' population, support market on certification process.
  • Digital E-Learning Management (Makeup & Fragrance Category):
    • Collaborate with Regional digital learning team to develop relevant digital learning content enhancing BC's learning journey.
    • Plan digital learning calendar, consult other axis regional training managers on roll-out plan, communications, and e-learning activities.
    • Monitor and follow up on MYDIOR KPIs and BC learning.
    • Closely follow global and regional Axis trends, transmitting them through creation of digital content and videos.
  • Annual Seminar Project Management:
    • Work in partnership with key stakeholders to organize the annual Axis BC Seminar.
    • Advise on outline/overall rundown and resources required.
    • Collaborate with host market to ensure smooth logistical and organizational processes.
    • Ensure clear communications with participants pre- and post-seminar.
    • Collect feedback post-seminar and conduct evaluation with key internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Certification or diploma in makeup artistry or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Makeup/Fragrance/Regional beauty retail training, including classroom and digital learning.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English; another Asian language a plus.
  • Demonstrate great facilitation skills and strong engagement abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with client-centric approach.
  • Global vision and understanding of the retail network, able to build collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Strategic agility: propose, adjust, and adapt innovative ideas.
  • People-oriented and strong communicator/influencer.
  • Proficient in MS applications, especially Excel, Words, PowerPoint.
  • Travel required in Asia Pacific region – approximately 30%.

Salary Range:$80,000 - $120,000 per annum
