Job Overview

Citi is a leading financial services company seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Business Manager. This position will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of Capital Markets business management.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Work closely with product managers to establish goals, set strategies, and provide direction for Capital Markets products.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Liaise with internal stakeholders to address day-to-day product-related queries, ensure seamless communication, and drive business results.
  • Manage Product Life Cycle: Oversee strategic roadmaps, development, launch, and marketing efforts to maximize benefits from each product.
  • Oversee Day-to-Day Operations: Coordinate product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies, as well as help prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and Execute Functional Strategies: Plan and execute country-, region-, or business-specific functional strategies requiring coordination across units, providing input into strategic decisions for the Capital Markets business.
  • Program Lifecycle Management: Oversee all aspects of program life cycle management, including market demands, technology trends, and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Market Approach and Coordination: Develop and communicate plans to approach the marketplace, coordinate and implement procedures, and drive innovation through external partnerships.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues, demonstrating sound judgment and risk assessment skills in business decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: 6-10 years of experience in relevant roles, preferably managing across multiple functions and/or global businesses.
  • Functional Expertise: Strong background in product development, analytics, or related fields, with prior experience in Foreign Exchange or Structured Products being advantageous.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and decision-making acumen.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, adjust priorities quickly, and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations.
Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
