Job DescriptionThe Estate Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Amity Village, ensuring that all aspects of the estate are managed efficiently and effectively. This includes maintaining occupancy levels, managing building maintenance, and providing guidance to staff.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that independent living units and common facilities are maintained to an agreed standard.
- Manage building maintenance, grounds, and operations, including equipment, furniture, and other essential services.
- Provide day-to-day advice, guidance, and directions to staff, including training and development to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Prepare and explain lease documentation for incoming residents.
- Develop and implement plans for continuous improvement, involving management, staff, volunteers, residents, and key stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess leadership and managerial experience, including financial management and budgeting. You should also have highly developed interpersonal skills and a willingness to respond to emergencies after hours.
