Job Summary

Citi Research is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Global Research Publications Team as a Supervisory Analyst (SA) / Editor. This role will be based in either Sydney, Australia, or Hong Kong and will be responsible for reviewing and editing investment research product to ensure compliance with US FINRA regulations and Citi's internal research content guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review investment research product for compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
  • Edit investment research for quality, clarity, and commerciality.
  • Review language and tone for franchise risk and determine when escalation is appropriate.
  • Handle checking of investment research product for issuer mentions, disclaimers, data consistency, and distribution tagging.
  • Act as an editorial project manager, providing end-to-end traffic management of work-in-progress and liaising with analyst teams and other stakeholders.
  • Assess risk appropriately when business decisions are made and work in compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • FINRA Series-16 license is a major advantage, and we may sponsor candidates without Series-16 to sit the exam.
  • At least five years of experience creating, supporting, or editing investment/financial analytic content.
  • Fluent English speaker with evidence of editorial and writing capability.
  • Strong familiarity with financial markets, financial terminology, and current business news.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously amid tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound and balanced judgment.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented with the ability to remember and apply many guidelines and procedures on a consistent and reliable basis.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree.
Work Arrangements:

Citi Research operates on a Hybrid weekly work approach of three days in office and two days optionally remote-work.
