Bloomberg Intelligence Research Editor

Bloomberg Intelligence is seeking a highly skilled Research Editor to join our team in Hong Kong. As a Research Editor, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality research reports that provide in-depth analysis and insights to help investors and industry professionals make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy strong writing, editing, and multimedia skills to produce compelling and concise research reports
  • Collaborate with analysts and researchers to develop and edit research reports
  • Work under deadline pressure to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of financial markets, economies, and industries
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments to provide accurate and timely analysis
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • At least 10 years of editing experience in a financial news outlet or the financial services industry
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality research reports and editing for a wide range of audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience editing for a major wire service or financial news outlet
  • Strong multimedia and data visualization skills
  • Good oral communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with the Bloomberg system and its tools and resources
