Job Description:

The Airline Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising the scheduling, controlling, and adjustment of Crew Member roster to comply with legal, regulatory standards, and company requirements. This includes ensuring availability of Crew Members for operational needs during day-to-day operations, acting as the responsible person for the assigned shift, and supervising the shift in Crew Operations to ensure it runs in accordance with agreed standards.

  • Supervising Crew movements and adjusting crew duties to meet operational needs in a legal, efficient, and cost-effective manner;
  • Handling Crew Member inquiries on rostering issues;
  • Supporting and coaching staff members in all aspects of handling daily functions of Crew Operations;
  • Implementing guidelines, work procedures, or directives from Crew Control Manager/Assistant Manager during day-to-day operations;

This role also involves proactive support for IOCC for crew deployment solutions and participating in the IOCC decision-making process, identifying and reporting safety and security hazards and occurrences as per company's reporting procedures, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and company requirements to ensure safety and security of the operation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a HKCEE/DSE or equivalent qualification, 2 years of experience in Airline Crewing aspects, proficiency in verbal communication in Cantonese, English, and Putonghua, and knowledge of MS Office. Additionally, you should be well-versed in HKCAD CAD371, CAD360, and IOSA standards as well as Crew Control and flight disruption handling, and capable of handling conflict and settling arguments in a reasonable manner.
