Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess strong merchandising skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of customer behavior. Key responsibilities include:

  • MERCHANDISING STRATEGY: Plan and execute merchandising strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize margins.
  • DAILY DUTIES: Perform daily merchandising tasks, including development and order follow-up.
  • CUSTOMER LIAISON: Establish and maintain strong relationships with buyers and clients to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • TEAM COMMUNICATION: Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless product development and order processing.
  • COLLATERAL WORK: Work closely with manufacturers and teammates on product sourcing, quotations, sampling, and bulk order follow-ups.
  • Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Develop expertise in price negotiation and problem-solving skills to drive business success.
  • SUPPLIER COORDINATION: Effectively communicate with suppliers regarding lead times, ensuring compliance with product quality standards.
  • Vendor and Factory Coordination: Ensure timely delivery by communicating with vendors and factories, identifying potential issues, and resolving them promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably in trims, packaging, or a related field.
  • Proficient in English, Chinese, and Mandarin languages.
  • Solid experience in independently following up on development and orders.
  • Possibility of travel to China or overseas manufacturing locations.
