Our company has a strong presence in Europe, China, and Southeast Asia, with a trading office in Hong Kong and main customers including international fashion brands and apparel companies.
The Job:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies, understanding customer behavior, collaborating with buyers, and building partnerships to drive revenues and margins.
Daily Duties
- Perform daily merchandising duties in development and order follow-up.
- Liaise with buyers and clients to provide excellent customer service.
- Communicate with the Sales Teams about product development and orders.
- Work closely with manufacturers and teammates on product sourcing, development, quotations, sampling, and bulk order follow-ups.
- Negotiate prices and resolve problems effectively.
- Clearly communicate with suppliers about lead times, ensuring all aspects of product compliance and quality standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and factories to ensure timely delivery and identify potential problems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of merchandising experience in trims, packaging, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Mandarin languages.
- Solid experience in independently following up on development and orders.
- Possible travel to China or overseas manufacturing locations.
