Company Overview: Our client, a leading hospitality group based in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of their hotel facilities and building services systems.

About the Role: As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all hotel facilities and equipment are well-maintained and functioning properly. This includes arranging ad-hoc repairs, monitoring engineering team progress, and supervising vendors. You will also be responsible for planning and scheduling contractors for preventative maintenance to minimize downtime for critical equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the performance of vendors and the Engineering team to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with industry standards.
  • Plan and schedule contractors for preventative maintenance to limit downtime for all critical equipment.
  • Assist in dealing with emergencies and arrange ad-hoc repairs as needed.
  • Monitor and implement T&C procedures for R&M and A&A works to ensure contractor works meet required standards.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies that align with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Higher Certificate holder in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in engineering, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Self-driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate with colleagues, vendors, and clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other productivity tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent command of spoken Cantonese, English, and Putonghua languages.

What We Offer: Our client offers a competitive salary range between HKD $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
