Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Computer Vision Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in developing innovative solutions for SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), point cloud registration, camera-LiDAR calibration, and applying deep learning techniques to point cloud data.

Key Deliverables:

  • Design and implement optimized algorithms for 3D point cloud processing, object recognition, and segmentation.

  • Enhance and optimize SLAM algorithms for seamless integration with our flagship product, SpatialSense.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and optimize AI technologies for improved 2D & 3D data analysis and visualization.

  • Conduct research and development to stay updated with emerging techniques in computer vision and machine learning.

  • Evaluate and ensure the robustness and accuracy of our computer vision applications under diverse operational conditions.

  • Develop computer vision algorithms and models for various applications, including object detection, image classification, segmentation, and tracking.

  • Maximize the potential of NVIDIA hardware by optimizing computer vision algorithms and models.

  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to explore and utilize the latest features and capabilities of NVIDIA hardware platforms.

  • Conduct thorough performance profiling and benchmarking of computer vision algorithms to optimize resource utilization.

  • Implement and integrate computer vision algorithms into end-to-end systems, ensuring scalability, robustness, and real-time performance.

  • Pursue collaborations with researchers and academic partners to evaluate state-of-the-art computer vision techniques and their application.

Requirements:

  • Holds a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision.

  • Demonstrates strong background in 3D point cloud data processing, including experience with SLAM, point cloud registration, and camera-LiDAR calibration.

  • Exhibits proficiency in applying deep learning methods to point cloud data.

  • Proven expertise in deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and proficient in programming languages like Python and C++.

  • Demonstrates extensive experience in optimizing computer vision algorithms for NVIDIA hardware.

  • Show in-depth understanding of computer vision concepts, including image processing, feature extraction, object detection, and segmentation.

  • Demonstrate hands-on experience with NVIDIA CUDA and cuDNN libraries, as well as frameworks like TensorRT.

  • Hold knowledge of parallel computing principles and GPU programming techniques.

  • Be familiar with computer vision libraries and tools, such as OpenCV, Dlib, or PCL.

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to optimize algorithms for performance and accuracy.

  • Have experience with ROS software and methodologies.

  • Be proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar.

  • Have knowledge of machine learning and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
