Unity Partners is a dynamic organization seeking a skilled Splunk Infrastructure Architect to join our team. With a strong background in IT security and extensive experience in Splunk administration, this role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and managing complex Splunk environments.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional with at least 10 years of IT security experience, including 5 years in Splunk administration, preferably in the Financial Services industry. As a Splunk Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and optimization of the Splunk environment, ensuring efficient data ingestion, search performance, and data analysis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable Splunk architectures to meet business needs
  • Manage and maintain Splunk infrastructure, including search heads, indexers, deployment servers, and forwarders
  • Develop and implement data ingestion processes to ensure accurate and efficient data ingestion into Splunk
  • Optimize Splunk performance, including search performance, indexing, and data retention policies
  • Implement and maintain security best practices and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Monitor Splunk infrastructure for performance issues and troubleshoot problems
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Splunk administration and development
  • Experience with Splunk agent deployment and maintenance
  • Troubleshooting skills for Splunk server and agent issues
  • Automation using scripting languages like Python and Bash
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Certification in information security (CISM, CISA, CCISP) preferred
  • Splunk Certified Admin or Splunk Certified Architect preferred
