Senior DevOps Systems Engineer

Westbury Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Infra / DevOps / System Performance team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance trading systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated trading systems using Python, Golang, and Shell scripting
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain high-performance trading platforms
  • Ensure the stability and availability of complex trading systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological innovations and best practices in the field

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps and systems engineering
  • Extensive experience with high-performance financial trading systems
  • Deep technical understanding of Kafka and/or data systems (e.g. MinIO, Timescale, data pipelines)
  • Deep development experience in Python, Golang, and Shell scripting
  • Advanced experience in Linux Administration
  • Strong holistic understanding of technology and its relationships
  • Innovative track record for technical problem-solving
  • A strong passion for innovation and the latest technologies
  • An industry-relevant degree or diploma
