Job Title: DevOps Engineer

NLS is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the trading infrastructure, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust and scalable trading infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes.
  • Enhance system monitoring and alerting capabilities to ensure high availability and performance of trading systems.
  • Identify and implement security measures to protect trading systems and sensitive data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal impact on trading operations.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence, establish best practices, and improve the software development lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in the financial industry.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, Go.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of system monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
  • Demonstrated experience with automating deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
