Are you ready to unlock the power of data and drive business growth at FedEx? As a Strategic Business Analytics Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our AMEA business functions and processes with applied analytics.

With a strong background in statistics, business analytics, or a related field, you will be responsible for investigating key business problems, discovering insights, and recommending improvement actions through data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.

You will work closely with our business stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic plans to address them. Your analytical skills will enable you to design and develop methods for data collection and analysis, integrate and prepare datasets, build and evaluate data models, and explore and analyze data using statistical and visualization techniques.

In this role, you will also support other business functions and strategic projects with finding and understanding data, user training, and coaching. To be successful, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Business Analytics, Actuarial Studies, or a similar discipline, as well as 8 years of practical, applied analytics experience in any industry.

Around $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support key AMEA business processes with applied analytics
  • Investigate key business problems and recommend improvement actions
  • Design and develop methods for data collection and analysis
  • Integrate and prepare datasets; build and evaluate data models
  • Explore and analyze data using statistical and visualization techniques
  • SUMMARIZE AND PRESENT FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO BUSINESS USERS AND STAKEHOLDERS IN UNDERSTANDABLE AND RELEVANT WAYS, BOTH VERBALLY AND VISUALLY
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Business Analytics, Actuarial Studies, or a similar discipline
  • 8 years of practical, applied analytics experience in any industry
  • Applied analytical skills, including statistical knowledge; data modeling and visualization using modern BI/Analytics tools
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to tell compelling stories with data
  • A good understanding of fundamental business principles and problems and the ability to constantly and independently ask questions, find answers, and learn
