About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Operations Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our engineering services team, you will be responsible for managing and executing all engineering/technical service contracts, including inspections and quality management of service delivery.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement building procedures, work methods, and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training programs for staff.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of materials and services for building operations, including vendor contracts.
  • Prepare tender documentation, evaluate tenders, and manage contracts as per client agreements.
  • Implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to engineers and subordinates, including performance reviews and development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, crisis management/business continuity, and emergency protocols.
  • Ensure all work meets statutory regulations for fire, health, and safety standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive health and safety inductions for service delivery teams and on-site contractors.
  • Prepare detailed risk assessments for self-delivery.
  • Respond to critical out-of-hours issues and actively participate in emergency situations as a key team member.
  • Coordinate, manage, and oversee vendors in delivering a wide range of workplace-related services.
  • Ensure service deliverables meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Escalate recurring problems and propose effective solutions to the Engineering and Workplace team.
  • Assist in preparing strategic plans, budgets, and client reports, including financial reconciliation for service contract accounts.
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day facilities operations.

About You


We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified professional with a degree in Building Services / MEP or a related discipline. You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related industry, with 4 years of experience at a supervisory level. Prior experience in energy saving and audit-related areas is preferred. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.
