Job Description

The Commercial Risk Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the operational control and risk management framework for Aon's APAC commercial risk business. This includes developing and implementing risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks associated with commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage and maintain the operational control and risk management framework for Aon's APAC commercial risk business.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective risk management practices are implemented across the organization.
  4. Identify and mitigate risks associated with commercial transactions.
  5. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize financial losses due to potential risks.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  7. Represent Aon in meetings with clients and other stakeholders to discuss risk management strategies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in operations, information technology, project management, business or related fields.
  • At least 3-5 years of operational experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in operational or project management and analysis with previous experience in a similar role.
  • Skilled in operational management, budgeting, resource development, and planning.
  • Stakeholder management with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team.
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment.
