About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end thematic/cyclical/desk review activities, including scoping, testing, issue clearance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk-Based Compliance Control Plan: Develop an annual risk-based compliance control plan for APAC, aligned with Group's instruction and taking into account local regulatory requirements.
  • Review Activities: Manage and deliver compliance reviews covering wholesale bank activities within Asia, ensuring timely tracking of CTL issues/action plans/recommendations.
  • Governance and Reporting: Contribute to SG Internal control committees (Global or regional) to debrief key issues identified from APAC CTL reviews, manage regular reporting process to communicate results to local Compliance officers and Global CPLE/CTL teams.

Requirements

  • Experience: Extensive relevant work experience in financial services industry, internal audit/control testing, and compliance background.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and people skills, ability to analyze large datasets and present findings clearly.
