The clinical division is led by Insighta, a $200 million joint venture with renowned scientist Prof. Dennis Lo, focused on multi-cancer early detection technologies. This is followed by ACT Genomics, which has achieved FDA clearance for comprehensive genomic profiling of solid tumors, and CircleDNA, which uses NGS to offer comprehensive DNA tests.

About the Role

Our team seeks a dynamic leader to spearhead our engineering efforts at Prenetics, focusing primarily on our two brands, IM8 Health and CircleDNA, while remaining open to other initiatives. As the Product Engineering Director Lead, you will drive the development of innovative digital products and optimize our D2C e-commerce platforms. You will shape the technical vision and roadmap, manage cross-functional collaborations, and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary remote team of developers, engineers, and technical specialists.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Drive the development and optimization of digital products to enhance customer experience, improve conversion rates, and support business growth.
  • Oversee the development and performance of our e-commerce platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and an excellent user experience.
  • Build and maintain robust analytics infrastructure to track and optimize growth marketing metrics, customer behaviors, and website performance.
  • Champion best practices in software development, including code quality, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Rapidly identify and resolve technical challenges to maintain smooth operations.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and growth teams to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
  • Define and execute a clear technology roadmap to achieve business goals and accelerate growth.

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

  • Proven leadership experience in engineering and technology within high-growth D2C or e-commerce businesses.
  • A strong understanding of consumer-facing digital products and experience scaling platforms for global audiences.
  • Expertise in analytics tools, with a strong grasp of growth marketing metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect and oversee complex e-commerce systems.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a knack for motivating teams and driving results.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Shopify (required): Strong experience managing and optimizing e-commerce platforms.
  • Klaviyo: Email marketing automation and customer engagement.
  • Loop: Logistics and post-purchase experience enhancement.

  • Prive: Subscription management and retention strategy.

Salary:
