About the Role

We are seeking a talented Fundamental Equity Research Analyst to join our Mumbai office. This role will be an integral part of a dynamic global investment team, working closely with team members across different locations to develop the team's investment strategy and deliver top performance.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct fundamental research, focusing initially on India equity and gradually expanding to other regional markets, such as South East Asia and Australia.
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory changes to identify investment opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and maintain company financial models, performing valuation analysis to inform investment decisions.
  • Attend corporate meetings, conduct channel checks, and participate in industry and investor events.
  • Contribute to research and idea generation through written and verbal reports.
  • Collaborate with other team members on regular and ad-hoc research projects.
Requirements
  • Top academic performance and ideally a CFA charterholder.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sell-side or buy-side equity research, investment banking, or other relevant roles in finance.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sense of responsibility and integrity, with self-driven intellectual curiosity and ability to collaborate effectively with the team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
