About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Underwriting Associate - Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a critical role in helping our customers manage risk and respond to uncertainty.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue policies, endorsements, and certificates within agreed turnaround times, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
- Provide underwriting and operational support to our Property business, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to broker requests and deadlines, fostering strong relationships.
- Identify and resolve pending issues through effective escalation and resolution action plans, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct self-audits of multinational account policies, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and submit client lists for sanction screening, maintaining a secure and compliant environment.
- Support Underwriters in reporting to NY/Regional Office on Cat Modeling Report, Risk Engineering Fee Report, and ad-hoc requests.
Requirements
- Higher diploma or above with 1 year of working experience; experience in general insurance is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Attention to detail, self-motivation, and a positive attitude, with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
- Good written and oral English and Chinese language skills.
- Proficient PC skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Immediate availability is highly preferable.
