Job Description

  • As an Associate M&A Advisor, you will work closely with the Chairman and Director to originate relationships with key stakeholders.
  • You will lead both buy-side and sell-side transaction execution for the entire deal cycle, including drafting definitive agreements and performing due diligence.
  • Your responsibilities will also include building and running financial models and valuations for relevant companies.
  • You will guide junior team members in preparing presentation documents, including pitch books and strategic proposals.
  • In addition, you will perform research, analysis, and write reports on industry sectors and specific companies as needed.
  • Multitasking between assignments and jobs assigned to team members will be a crucial aspect of your role.
  • You will manage and handle communication with clients, investors, and partners of advisory companies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant finance discipline, such as MBA.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in cross-border M&A transactions in Southeast Asia is required.
  • Specific knowledge of a sector, such as financial services or consumer goods, would be an advantage.
  • Proficient experience in execution, including drafting definitive agreements and coordinating due diligence processes, is essential.
  • Professional qualifications in financial disciplines, such as CFA/CPA, would be beneficial.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation, market research, and due diligence are necessary.
  • Highly professional, self-motivated individuals with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are preferred.
