Learning and Development Expert

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to collaborate with our Talent Development team in creating management and professional skills content and facilitating training for Jane Street employees in Hong Kong and Singapore offices.
This role involves co-creating and implementing a learning strategy that supports Jane Street's continuous growth in our Asian offices. You will partner with other team members to design, develop, and deliver programs and initiatives that cover the firm's highest talent and learning priorities, such as communication, presentation, project management, leadership, and manager development.
As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting research and needs analyses to develop thoughtful content
- Identifying learning objectives based on business drivers and performance goals
- Using a content-development framework to create engaging and effective learning materials
- Designing comprehensive learning experiences to support various modalities (e.g., self-paced online training, virtual classroom training, in-person classroom training, or a blend thereof)
- Evaluating feedback and prioritizing updates to improve experiences for future learners
- Bachelor's degree or higher; MBA or MA (in organization development or similar) a plus
- 8+ years of experience in talent development or a similar field (e.g., human resources, organizational design, or learning design), including hands-on experience implementing L&D programs
- Knowledgeable in adult learning, learning design, and program development
- Experienced with developing and managing relationships with external partners
- Strategic thinker who can understand how all the organizational pieces fit together and make systemic recommendations accordingly
- Able to serve as a thought leader to other members of the HR team
- Highly collaborative and detail-oriented, able to work well in a flat organizational structure
- Adaptable multi-tasker with strong project management skills; able to communicate status, deadline, and resource needs while effectively managing competing priorities to move work forward
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English required
