Job Description

The Middleware Expert will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of the ABN AMRO Clearing Bank's Middleware/Application environments. This includes maintenance, build, and performance tuning of AAC Crown Jewel applications and MW solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the architecture team to provide expertise in defining and implementing a global infrastructure to support existing and future projects.
  • Provide guidance to the development team on development and deployment best practices and configuration for AAC applications.
  • Maintain system documentation and ensure all system and application changes are approved via the appropriate Change Control methods.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks for High Availability and Disaster Recovery tests and plan and run these tests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience.
  • Experience of implementing and supporting high availability solutions.
  • Understanding of and adherence to ITIL Change control procedures.
  • Experience in IBMi Operating System on IBM Power Servers, CL (Control Language), SQL Database (DB2), MQ on IBMI.
  • Strong knowledge of MQ, Kafka, WebMethods, File Transfer, Windows, Red Hat Linux, Networking, Active Directory.
