Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute settlement directives from fund administrators.
  • Conduct daily operational transactions for unit trusts, ORSO schemes, and maintenance funds.
  • Oversee funding arrangements and cash flow positions.
  • Manage corporate actions effectively.
  • Resolve discrepancies in transactions and follow up on pending issues.
  • Ensure compliance by verifying the eligibility of newly invested securities in accordance with MPFA regulations.
  • Analyze cash flow forecasts and portfolio holdings, including the reconciliation of securities and investment pricing for unit trusts.
  • Calculate and prepare monthly contributions, redemptions, and entitlements for ORSO schemes.
  • Maintain accurate records for members of ORSO schemes.
  • Generate annual statements for members and file annual returns and financial statements to MPFA for ORSO schemes.
  • Collaborate with custodians on the settlement of global equities, fixed income products, and foreign exchange transactions.
  • Supervise and mentor MPF Settlement Assistants to ensure precision and efficiency in daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or higher, preferably in finance or accounting.
  • At least 4 years of experience in fund settlement or operational roles.
  • Strong understanding of electronic settlement systems and Bloomberg.
  • Mature, self-reliant, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with MPF investment regulations and SFC Code is advantageous.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
