Job Purpose:To develop trade financing products for our Corporate Banking Division, including establishing product guidelines, implementing procedures, reviewing systems and providing guidance on trade financing products to marketing teams.
Main Responsibilities:- Coordinate with stakeholders to set up operational frameworks, guidelines, documentation and procedural workflows to ensure smooth operation and compliance.
- Work with IT to integrate and enhance trade systems to improve customer experience and portfolio monitoring.
- Update product pricing guidelines and streamline trade financing product workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Arrange training sessions for marketing departments to provide a thorough understanding of trade financing, including business opportunities, security positions, accounting and financial arrangements, and legal and documentation aspects.
- Stay updated on market developments, new product initiatives and competitors' strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the Credit Department and Trade Operation team to ensure proper credit and procedural guidelines are in place to facilitate business growth and ongoing risk monitoring to minimize potential losses.
- A university graduate with at least 10 years of experience in trade finance and UCP guidelines (candidates with less experience will be considered for Manager roles).
- HKIB Certified Banker is an advantage.
- ECF Certification (CPFinT(M) or CPFinT(A)) is also advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of trade and factoring products, including selling and structuring techniques, collateral control, and portfolio management.
- Strong marketing sense and networking skills to ensure smooth implementation and monitoring of business development.
- In-depth knowledge of trade and factoring principles, practices, and credit risk management techniques.
- Solid experience in formulating business strategies to achieve business targets.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in coaching junior team members to ensure quality services to all stakeholders.
