About the Role
As a Technology Transfer Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the transfer of technology from research to commercial applications at the Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre Limited. You will work closely with researchers, patent attorneys, and industry partners to develop and implement effective technology transfer strategies.

**Responsibilities**
Technology transfer facilitation: Coordinating with researchers, patent attorneys, and industry partners to facilitate the transfer of technology from research to commercial applications through licensing agreements, research contracts, joint-laboratory agreements, and other mechanisms.
Intellectual property protection and management: Handling the Centre's intellectual property assets, operating mechanisms for their protection and management, and keeping track of income generation, accounts receivables, and cost incurred relating to the use of ABIC's IP assets.
Reporting and compliance: Compiling reports to university management teams, funding agencies, and government departments, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, laws, and regulations.
Training and development: Providing training to ABIC members on IP-related matters, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage the Centre's intellectual property assets.

**Requirements**
A Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, such as life science, medical engineering, or a related discipline, is required. A minimum of two years of experience in intellectual property management, technology transfer, or a related field, preferably within a university or research institution setting, is essential. Familiarity with relevant IP laws, regulations, government policies, and university best practices in Hong Kong and internationally is also required.
