Role Summary

In this Senior Account Executive role at Workiva Inc., you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing sales opportunities with executive-level buyers and influencers in private or publicly traded companies. This role requires a strong understanding of complex sales cycles, negotiation skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Performance Indicators
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, resulting in increased repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate effectively with peer Sales teams, Inside Sales, and Partnerships to drive sales growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with Workiva products and services through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Continuously improve sales processes and strategies to achieve better outcomes.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in a related role - enterprise technology or similar complex solution sales.
  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and related career experience.
  • Proficient in both Cantonese and Mandarin to effectively communicate with clients based in Taiwan.

Desirable Skills and Qualities

  • Understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) business model.
  • Ability to demonstrate complex software applications.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex business challenges.
  • Executive presence and ability to communicate at the most senior level.
  • Ability to identify and understand the power of influencers versus buyers and how to navigate the nuances of each during the sales cycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Ability to negotiate pricing with a focus on retaining value.
  • Capability for achieving (and exceeding) sales quota targets.
  • Motivated, driven, and eager to make an impact.
