Senior Strategy and Corporate Development Manager

Hang Seng Bank Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Senior Strategy and Corporate Development Manager. This role will provide the opportunity to work on different bank-level strategic initiatives across all the Businesses and Functions of the Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic support to the CEO and senior management team, including governance papers, presentation materials, and relationship management with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, including corporate strategy, corporate development, and Chief of Staff (COS) support.
- Mobilize and collaborate with businesses and functions to devise strategic initiatives, manage implementation, and monitor performance.
- Build and develop relationships with internal stakeholders, including subsidiaries, associate companies, and corporate investments.
- Lead fact-based analysis to develop relevant hypotheses for discussions and recommend strategic options for consideration by senior management.
- Lead relationship with external parties, including industry associations, and mobilize collaboration and participation by the Bank's relevant departments.
Requirements
- University degree in any discipline with good knowledge in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Over ten years of financial services experience, including strategy consulting, and/or hands-on experience in CEO or COS Office.
- Excellent written communication, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Generalist problem-solving skills with strong conceptual, analytical, and quantitative capabilities.
- Project management skill with a track record in leading and mobilizing cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
- Good knowledge of commercial banking products, organization, and operations.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
